Use-by = time expressed + the safe storage duration for the chosen location
  • Room temperature (≤ 25°C): use within about 4 hours for best quality (up to 6 if very clean).
  • Insulated cooler with ice packs: up to about 24 hours.
  • Refrigerator (4°C): up to about 4 days is best (5–8 days if hygiene is excellent).
  • Freezer (−18°C): up to about 6 months for best quality, acceptable to 9 months.
  • Thawed milk should be used within 24 hours and never refrozen. These are general guidelines — follow your healthcare provider's advice.
